The Cuttyhunk Ferry Company, operated by Captain Jono Billings and his wife Sue, offers year-round ferry service between the State Pier in New Bedford, Massachusetts and Cuttyhunk Island. This 80-foot ferry carries 149 passengers to Cuttyhunk, and has indoor and outdoor seating. On the voyage, travelers are treated to some of the best sightseeing on Buzzards Bay.
The Cuttyhunk Ferry Company also offers special trips, such as seasonal seal watches. One these seal watches, the ferry sails to Gull Island, where gray seals, harbor seals and harp seals like to hang out.
